Now, I realize this thread might not be of interest to the men. If not, well, this is for the other 51% of the population.

Do any of you decorate for the various holidays that come up. Like red, white and blue things for July 4 (or colors for whichever holiday that is specific to your country) or doilies and hearts with pink, white and red tablecloths for Valentines Day, or green for St. Patrick's Day, etc.? Not decorating for any party or get-together you are having, but just 'cause? Am I the only one? Embarrassed

I love it!  I think it's fun and creative, It's something my daughter and I can do together!

We have, what I think, is a one of a kind "Decoration".  We have a frame which we constantly
are updating with pictures.  But we have "special" pictures.  We have everything from
Our Lady of the Rosary, to Happy Birthday to The Wedding at Canna, Sermon on the Mount,
Our Lady at Fatima, etc.  They are
predominantly religious, but like I mentioned, there are a variety.  It's right above the
fireplace.  So, we'll have St. Patrick in there, besides lots of Green! big grin

Decorations are a BLAST! flower

My teenage daughter ""the Picture" wiz!  She goes to google and types in what ever we want under images and then we just print it out on our home printer.  Pretty clever and cheap, I think!  I have Our Lady of Lourdes up right now.
During Lent, we have a wooden Crucifix and the Picture rotation comes down until
Good Friday,  There are some very moving pictures that fit (I know you know that!)

But we like good old streamers and center pieces too! big grin

Party on! cheers
