Yes, very pretty to think about!  I read that the more we resemble Jesus crucified in this life the more we will resemble him in glory for all eternity in heaven.  Being conformed to Christ in all of our misery should be the happiest thing for us for it will follow that one day we will be conformed to him in all his glory. crucifix
