Give us fewer options next time, Shin.  You're as tough a quizmaster as Brigid.  Cheesy

I guess I will! Cheesy

The correct answer is E. St. Isidore of Seville! Cheesy

The clue was that it was about word origins, or etymologies, he is famous for his etymologies.  Grin

I don't know whether I'm motivated by this to make it easier or harder. But this next one will be easier!  Grin

Y'know all the saints say the same things, just in different words. Could be any one of the four. But I'll go for St. Margaret Mary Alacoque.  Cheesy

'Pray and work.'

1. St. Teresa of Jesus
2. St. Catherine of Bologna
3. St. Benedict
4. St. Augustine
5. St. John of the Cross

....

This one's a famous motto, and so, the one who most made it so, is the appropriate answer. Cheesy

A. St. Poemen
B. St. John Chrysostom
C. St. John of Avila
