Please pray for all with mental illness

O Sts. Michael and Rafael, the Archangels,
O St. Dymphna, Patroness of those with mental and neurological illness,
hear my prayer.
I ask you to pray for them to the Lord, our God,
that all those with any sort of mental or neurological disease
be freed of their illness,
as He so Wills.
I pray that all demons who so oppress,
instigate emotional wounds or suppress resistance to these,
be sent back to Hell forever.
For all those I beseech you pray to our Lord, Jesus Christ the Savior
Who in unity with the Father and the Holy Spirit be all honor and glory
now and forever. Amen

Thank you for such a beautiful prayer.  I have always embraced my situation as God's gift
by which and through which;  I will someday enter Heaven.  If I can use it to draw closer to
Our Lord and carry my cross with Him, if I can use it as a lifetime penance, if I can bear with
it as He would have me  .  .  .  

I also think coping with me and helping me cope, will aid my husband and daughter work out
their salivations as well.

I believe God takes special care of all His children with special needs, no matter what the "specialness"
may be

Today, Feb. 11th is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, may She bring healing in all the ways all people need it

"If" is sometimes a big word/action! Maybe I should have added a portion on strength for us, in the prayer.

And, I really needed to add a request for strength for our families!

I'm so glad you reminded me! My brain didn't pick up on that today, and that is a favorite apparition of mine of our BVM, too. Thank you.

(Btw, I'm glad you're back. We missed you when you weren't able to be here. Not that having a day without internet, or having a family with all that's entailed there isn't a good reason for not making it. Just saying that you were missed.)

Lord, bless your children who are mentally ill with a strong faith, with sure hope and burning charity. May all the mentally ill take refuge in you and Mary, and find salvation and peace in you.  Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.  Amen.
