Notification #1 - Updated Link Information for Books

With the transition to the new server, Saints' Books now has a much larger capacity and bandwidth capability to serve books to visitors.

The transition to the new server will in a short time allow Saints' Books to no longer use offsite links, but directly host all the books.

All of the books on Saints' Books will be hosted on the www.saintsbooks.net server.

Currently books are hosted on the www.saintsworks.net server. This means in the future links will be to books on www.saintsbooks.net, and no longer www.saintsworks.net

As there are a number of offsite links to our books we will do our best to notify those who provide those links to update their link information, and still provide the books on the old www.saintsworks.net server.

All the books on the www.saintsworks.net server when directly linked to, but with out of date links, will be provided with onsite redirects to the proper files.

This means that the old links will still work. But if you provide offsite links, or have favorites, or otherwise link to the books on the old www.saintsworks.net server, you are encouraged to update your links and favorites.

Notification #2 - Changed Link Information for All Sites

As the servers for all the sites with the exception of www.saintsworks.net have been changed to a new service, certain changes in how these servers work or serve are part of this change.

As the new servers run on a different operating system than the previous ones, they handle the Internet differently. In specific, they are more precise in how they handle links to the websites.

From now on all the links to the websites will now pay attention to the capitalization of the links.

What this means is that if you attempt to access one of these websites and do not properly capitalize the webpage, with the sole exception of the root domain name, that is www.saintsquotes.net, www.saintsprayers.net, etc., you will get an error.

I.E. www.saintsquotes.net will work and www.SaintsQuotes.net and www.saintsprayers.net/Meditations.htm will work, but www.saintsprayers.net/meditations.htm will NOT WORK, because the 'm' is not capitalized.

This is due to the fundamental difference between the way different server operating systems handle identifying files.

So please if you have are typing out links to link to specific pages of the websites, pay attention to the capitalization! This is not something that can be changed, so the user has to make do with how the process will now work.
