Prayer for the sick

O Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
 our only help in time of need,
 We humbly beseech you to look mercifully upon
  your servant  who is sick and  for whom we pray.
Comfort her and preserve her from the temptations of the enemy.
Give her patience under her affliction.
In your  good time, restore her to health,
 and enable her to lead the rest  of her life in your  grace,
and to your  glory,
 through Jesus Christ our Lord Your Son,
