An Appeal on Behalf of the Holy Souls

Divine Mercy, delight and ecstasy of holy souls, I trust in You!

O God
Creator and redeemer of all your faithful people, grant to the souls of all our faithful departed mercy, light and peace.
Lord, we pray that those we love who have gone before us in faith may know your forgiveness and the blessings of everlasting life,
in company with Mary and with all the saints and angels.
Amen

Eternal Father,
I offer you the most precious Blood of your Divine Son Jesus,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass,
offered throughout the world today,
for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory,
for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal Church,
those in my own home and within my family.
Amen!

God Our Father, source of all our consolation and mercy.
You, who bring us to new life, hear our prayer.
By the intercession of Mary our mother,
may our relatives, friends, benefactors
and all dead known to You alone,
who have gone back to You from this world,
come to share eternal happiness with all Your saints.
Wipe away all our tears and strengthen us to keep our journey
and mission until we meet with them again,
to sing Your praises forever and ever.
Eternal rest grant unto them Oh Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.

Have mercy on the souls in purgatory,
and especially on those that are most forsaken;
Do thou deliver them from the terrible torments they endure;
Call them and admit them to thy most sweet embrace in paradise.

Take pity on those souls
who have no particular friends and intercessors
to recommend them to thee,
who either through the negligence of those who are alive
or through length of time are forgotten by their friends, and by all
spare them O Lord,
and remember Thine own mercy
when others forget to appeal to it.
Let not the souls which thou has created
be parted from thee, their creator.
May the souls of all the faithful departed
through the mercy of God
