An Appeal on Behalf of the Holy Souls

O my Jesus,
Forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell
lead all souls to heaven
especially those in most need of thy mercy

Creator and Redeemer of all your faithful people, grant to the souls of all our faithful departed mercy, light and peace.
Lord we pray that those we love who have gone before us in faith may know your forgiveness and the blessings of everlasting life,
in company with Mary and with all the saints and angels.
Amen

God Our Father,
source of all our consolation and mercy.
You, who brings us to new life, hear our prayer.
By the intercession of Mary our mother,
may our relatives, friends, benefactors
and all dead known to You alone,
 who have gone back to You from this world,
 come to share eternal happiness with all Your saints.
Wipe away all our tears and strengthen us
 to keep our journey and mission until we meet with them again,
 to sing Your praises forever and ever.

And let perpetual light shine upon them.

O, Holy Souls in Purgatory,
 you are the most certain heirs of heaven.
You are most dear to Jesus as the trophies of His Precious Blood
 and to Mary, mother of mercy.
Obtain for me through your intercession
the grace to lead a holy life,
to die a happy death,
 and to attain to the blessedness of eternity in heaven.

and your reward will not be lost.
You who fear the Lord, hope for good things,
for lasting joy and mercy.
Study the generations long past and understand;
