Make an announcement if you or Brigid start it again, and I'll join too. Little Angel

This summer has a number of dates to start the consecration on - to end on a Marian feast day, that is.

For folks who missed this last year, a good time to begin again is on this coming November 5th, so you can end the consecration on a Feast Day of Our Lady.  Cheesy Here we have a whole thread devoted to it.

May God please bless us and help us to be all the more consecrated to Our Lady as this year comes to a close and a new one prepares to come before us.

Hello to all.   happywave  As you can see, I am brand new here.  I was looking for a forum where people are truly seeking the spiritual and not just to fight with one another to get their own opinions across, and I think I may have found it here!  I have read through a couple of threads and am very impressed with what I am seeing.  I am now also doing the preparation for Consecration to Mary.  It is something I have wanted to do a long time and finally decided that this would be the time.  The posts are very encouraging and uplifting.  Just for a little background, I am a cradle Catholic but left the Church when I was a teenager and after decades in the spiritual wilderness of the world, I came back home.  I returned on August 14, 2007, the day before the Assumption.  Ironically, the last Mass I attended before leaving was December 8.  So to do the Total Consecration on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception means a lot to me.

I have truly come to see that our Blessed Mother is the true path to her son.  I use to have an altar to her in my room when I was little, and I think that even though I turned my back on her, she has never left me.

Thank you all for allowing me to make this journey with you.

I am convinced that the crisis in the Church that we are experiencing today is to a large extent due to the disintegration of the liturgy.

A Catholic, welcome to the Saintsforum and thank you for sharing your journey with us. Cheesy We are a small but close knit forum and we try to keep a spirit of joy and cordiality  with each other. I am glad you appreciate it.  Smiley Our Lady is truly compassionate. If only everyone knew her as the Mediatrix of all graces.  crucifix  A big welcome to you!

You can browse through the forum rules which you will find in the first section ' Announcements, news and updates' and if you wish you can renew old threads which would be very interesting. Feel free to ask if you have any doubts or questions.  happywave
