Prayer Request for healing of Severe Sickle Cell Disease.

I am requesting for prayers for my nephew Apollo.
Apollo has severe Sickle Cell Anaemia. His Doctors in London where he lives with his young family, have done their best and continue to do so. He gets severe chest pains, monthly exchange blood transfusions, etc. As a direct result of the severity of his condition, he no longer works whereas before he was an academician earning very good salary; He is all tense and anxious and very worried about his future and that of the family. The doctors are doing their part, but real cure comes from God.
Please pray for Apollo: That he may turn to God who is the source of our health and well being; that The Lord may bless him and keep him;
The Lord make His face shine upon him,
And be gracious to him;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon him,
And give him peace.
Thank you my brothers and sisters in Christ!

May Our good Lord and Our Lady of the Rosary have mercy on the affliction of this family and restore him to health. May he be strong and accept the will of God in his life no matter how difficult

Remembered Apollo and his family during Rosary yesterday.  Our prayers will definitely be heard.
I have a suggestion. If you could ask him to receive Extreme Unction. Extreme Unction could  bring healing to sick people.
This is something I suggest to grievously ill members of my own family. My own mother before she went in for bypass surgery received the last rites and her  surgery was successful.
 My young uncle was suffering from lung cancer. He was hoping for a cure and was troubled because he was leaving a young family behind. I asked my mom to suggest Extreme Unction to him. She was nervous about doing so because she was scared that the family would be offended .
She summoned her courage and suggested it to the family anyway. They got a priest to come to the house. After he left my uncle said that he felt free and that he wasn't scared anymore and he was ready to face whatever came his way. He passed away some days later.

Extreme Unction is the Sacrament which gives health and strength to the soul and sometimes to the body to persons who are in danger of death.

Apollo is not Catholic. The last time I saw him he was like three years old.  His parents are Church of Uganda ( Anglican Communion).
At a time when Uganda was undergoing a lot of trials, our family sort of scattered. Apollo's mom went with the children to England. I have not seen him since, except in photos. When I learned that he was very sick. I sent him an e-mail and told him I would be praying for him and asking for prayers for him both here and at CAF. Let us also include that in our wish list for Apollo. His conversion. God , our Father is merciful!
