I am a bit apprehensive, I must admit. I will refresh my memory about Saint St.Maxmillian Kolbe's life history so I feel that I really know him when I ask for his intercession. Please add my brother Herbert and sister Helen to your prayer; blindness runs in the family and for them, they are already there.

I am dedicating my evening prayers to you, Odhiambo, to you and to your dear brother Herbert and your sister, Helen.
May they always have the hand if Our Lord to lead them where He wants them to go. 
Siblings are so dear to us and it is hard to see them struggle, isn't it.
I'm settling in with my books, my bible, my rosary. Praying for you and your family.
Sometimes life is very hard.
