Does anyone know if any dogma of old has been contradicted by the latest catechism of the Catholic Church?  Your help with this is greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the YouCat Catechism, the U.S. Catechism, the CCC, or something else?

I know I've read in the news that the first two have had dire problems that had to be revised. Direct heresies if what I read was correct. Don't know if there are any more, I have not read them.

Safer to read older catechisms in these times, they've been through the revision process. And aren't designed to be socially acceptable.  Cheesy

Perhaps use a search engine?

These aren't debate forums and these sorts of questions usually provoke them so normally they aren't dealt with here. Are you involved in a debate somewhere?

I heard of the understandable controversy surrounding YouCat, but I am concerned about the CCC because I read it.  I just read a book that indicated that our Church has been compromised since the Popes of Vatican II, and I am now concerned about the CCC.

Also, The book I told you I was reading about Mary (Introduction to Mary) did not actually have a chapter devoted to Medugorje, just a section.  Though the book has an Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat I will be very careful reading that section.

Well, these sorts of discussions are more for the personal forum than this particular forum.   Smiley

Feel free to use the PM system though.  Cheesy
