 I have never used the 'Show unread posts since last visit' link , I usually just check out the "today's" posts since I visit daily. All the same, thanks for pointing the link out.

There's also the 'Notify' button at the bottom of each forum, that is if you click 'Book Study' and then look at all the topics, at the bottom is 'Notify'. If you click that every time anyone posts to the board you'll get a notification too, for every thread. 

So that way if you want to be notified every time there is a new quote topic in 'Saints' and Spiritual Life' you will be.

I used to think that the  "notify" button was to be used only to "report" something to the administrator
I usually steer clear of it
