Please say a prayer for a good friend who is in the hospital with pneumonia and a high fever.  She was already weak from a year and a half of battling cancer.  Her fever is back up to where it was yesterday when she entered the hospital.  On the phone a few minutes ago she sounded worn out and in distress.

Mother Mary, I commend Speramus' friend to you.  Please ask our Lord to give her strength and healing in accordance with His holy Will.  May she persevere in faith, and offer up her suffering.  Please ease her suffering when it becomes to much for her to bear.  Amen.

Thanks be to God, and to all who have prayed or cared for my dearest friend.  After difficult days, her fever has broken and she seems to be starting to recover.

Give praise to Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. [Psalm 117:1]
