Lord Jesus Christ
I am assailed by a spell of loneliness
it is as if I am totally alone
without anyone in the world.
It is a terrifying feeling, Lord
please help me to overcome it.
Help me to realize that I am never really alone
if I am united with you,
for you are always with me.

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death

Heavenly Father,
We pray for those who are battling loneliness this Christmas Season.
Those with no one with whom to share a word, a laugh, a memory.
 Father, bless each and every one who suffers from such loneliness.
If it be your Will Lord, lighten their burden with a companion, a friend, someone who cares.
In Jesus Holy Name we pray.
Amen!

God of compassion and love, have mercy on the brokenhearted sufferers whose lives have been torn asunder.
Please send them the gift of consolation through the Holy Spirit to carry them through this terrible darkness,
and gently assuage their great heartache and the unfathomable loneliness they'll endure this holy season.
