I would appreciate anyone's prayers for my parents.

To the point - my mom has had chronic health problems and was sent to a short stay unit for elderly people so she can be well enough to come home.  Meanwhile, my dad (distressing details that I won't discuss at this time) was found in their home two days after he was told to pick up my mom.  In addition to other health problems they have diagnosed that he had a stroke.  I don't want to overwhelm people with too much information, but if you could please pray for two elderly married people in two different hospitals at this upsetting time in there lives.  Especially at Christmas!  Thank you, everyone, so much in advance!!!   sorry

O Holy Virgin
In the midst of your days of glory
do not forget the sorrows of this Earth
cast a merciful glance upon those
who are stuggling with difficulties
with their lips pressed against life's bitter cup.
Have pity on those who love each other and are separated.
Have pity on our rebellious hearts
Have pity on our weak faith
Have pity on those who weep
On those who pray
On those who fear
Grant hope and peace to all
Amen

I will be especially praying for them! It must be hard to bear! May God console you!

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

Mother Mary, I entrust grasscutter's parents to your loving care.  Please help them to persevere in faith and in a state of grace, and help them to receive the best medical care.  May they heal in accordance with Our Lord's holy and perfect will.

Hail Mary...

Amen.

Thank you, everyone, so much!!!  You're prayers are invaluable.  Luckily I live sort of close by (2 hour round trip - best I could do).  I relocated a year and a half ago because I worried about them.  When I tell them about your kind thoughts and prayers it will bring them much comfort.  Ummm.... silly tech problem...  can I print the prayers you've sent out to bring to them?

Sure! May God help and console them.

Technical info -- if this doesn't help or you're using something different than Windows I can offer other suggestions.

You can usually print something in Windows web browsers if you type CTRL-P, that's holding down the CTRL button and hitting 'p'.

You can print it like it is now, or you can click the 'print' button on the top of every forum thread to make it appear more printer friendly.

And a third way is to simply open up a little notepad file by right-clicking on your desktop, and then highlighting the texts you want to copy into it, and copy/pasting them into the file then printing that. But that's only if you want to neaten things up a bit.

You can also neaten up the page printout from within the web browser by bringing up the menu bar (ALT-F) and choosing 'Page Setup'. Then you can get rid of all the timestamps and extra info in the headers and footers.

Well that's a short description of ways to print things in Windows web browsers. Cheesy Hope it's not too technical. Step by step!
