I was reading up on how to make rosaries the other day, it's interesting, I have never done it before.

It looks like you definitely need two pairs of pliers to bend the 'eye pins' for each of the beads.

I had no idea what the eye pins were at first! Cheesy

Who here has any experience making rosaries? Anyone?

I was reading how some of the rosary makers out there make a good deal to donate periodically to the missions. What a splendid way to spend one's time for charity.

I make normal rosaries. Once a year I make a chapelet of the Seven Sorrows and a chapelet of St Michael. Also some chapelets of St joseph.

You must be very happy to do such work. St. Joseph, St. Michael, the Seven Sorrows, these are all so good.

Do you make chain rosaries poche? Twine rosaries?

What kind of material do you make them from?

I make chain rosaries. I use glass or plastic beads that I get from a variety of stores. I also search for old jewelry or whatever I can get.

Have you ever done the trick of wrapping the wire around the bead?
