Morning Prayer

Great and gracious Savior,
as we remember your Holy Mother
and her steadfast faith in your mission,
may we stand fast in the gospel of peace
and become the Christians we long to be
by the help pf her prayers.
Your reign is a reign for all ages.
Amen

Grant, O Lord, that none may love Thee less this day because of me; that never a word or act of mine turn one soul from Thee; and, ever daring, yet one more grace would I implore, that many souls this day, because of me, may love Thee more.
Amen

Eternal Father,
turn away Your angry gaze from our guilty people
whose face has become unsightly in Your eyes.
Look instead upon the Face of Your Beloved Son,
for this is the Face of Him
in Whom You are well pleased.
We now offer You this Holy Face,
covered with shame and disfigured by bloody bruises
in reparation for the crimes of our age
in order to appease Your anger,
justly provoked against us.
Because Your Divine Son, our Redeemer,
has taken upon His Head all the sins of His members,
that they might be spared,
we now beg of You, Eternal Father,
to grant us mercy.

I love You above all things,
 because You are infinitely good,
 and for your sake I love my neighbour as myself.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
 As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,

Creator Spirit
You made the world and all that is in it
fashion the hearts of your people
whom you have created to praise you,
and bring them into the courts of our heavenly home
we ask this through Christ our Lord

God of mercy and compassion,
your promises endure forever.
For the sake of our risen savior,
make us worthy of immortality
with all your saints and angels,
through all the ages of ages

O God, come to my assistance.
O Lord, make haste to help me.
If we live, we live to the Lord;

we rejoice in the holy men and women
of every time and place.
May their prayers bring us your forgiveness and love.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son

you gave us the Eucharist
as the memorial of your suffering and death.
May our worship of this sacrament
of your body and blood
help us to experience the salvation
you won for us
and the peace of the kingdom

May Christ, the true bread from heaven,
bless us and keep us.

Lord, God Almighty, you have brought us safely to the beginning of this day.
Defend us today by your mighty power, that we may not fall into any sin, but that all our words may so proceed and all our thoughts and actions be so directed, as to be always just in your sight. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Act of Hope

O my God,
relying on Your almighty power and infinite mercy and promises,
I hope to obtain pardon of my sins,  by the help of Your grace
and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
Lord, grant me to be with You forever.

Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
you made your mother a model of faith
an obedient servant of your holy will
by her perpetual prayer on our behalf
make us true sons and daughters
of the communion of saints
your reign is a reign for all the ages

Heavenly Father, Lord of life and death,
when Christ our Paschal lamb was sacrificed,
he overcame death by His own dying
and restored us to life by His own rising.
In virtue of His life giving Passover,
pour your Holy Spirit into our hearts,
fill us with awe and reverence for You,
and with love and compassion for our neighbor.
We ask this through the same Christ our Lord

May the Son of God, risen from the dead,
bless us and keep us.
