An Offering of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary
by St. John Eudes
O Jesus, only Son of God, only Son of Mary,
I offer Thee the most loving Heart of Thy divine Mother
which is more precious and pleasing to Thee than all hearts.
O Mary, Mother of Jesus,
I offer Thee the most adorable Heart of Thy well-beloved Son,
who is the life and love and joy of Thy Heart.
Blessed be the Most Loving Heart
and Sweet Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ
and the most glorious
Virgin Mary, His Mother,
in eternity and forever.

Heavenly Father,
Save me today from all the weaknesses and failures to which I easily succumb.
Save me from demanding standards from others which I do not try to keep myself.
Save me from being too hard on others and too easy on myself.
Save me from condemning faults and failings of others but totally blind to my own.
Save me Lord, from taking for granted, the many kindnesses shown to me today and
help me to respond with gratitude to everything You permit to happen to me today.
Amen!

Heavenly Father,
As I begin this day, I thank You that I can
see, talk, walk and hear.
That I can think with my mind and work with my hands.
Help me Lord, to spend the day with gratitude for all the gifts
and blessings You have given me, and which I, conceitedly, take for granted!
Help me never to misuse these gifts.
Lord, as I appreciate the health which I enjoy, I remember those of us who can neither see nor hear; those brothers and sisters of ours who are disabled in so many ways; the helpless and the bedridden.
I remember Lord, those who can no longer reason; their minds darkened and their senses gone.
I pray for Your Divine love and mercy for us all,
Through Christ, Our Lord and Saviour!
Amen!

"Lord,
I thank You for the blessing of this new day.
May I use it to reflect Your presence in all my thoughts, words, and actions,
so that these hours might end with the world a bit better and someone's life a bit happier because of my efforts.
Amen."

Dearest Jesus,
teach me to be generous:
To give and not to count the cost:
To fight and not to heed the wounds;
To toil and not to seek for rest;
To live and die for Thee.
Amen!

Virgin Most Afflicted,
There are times in our lives when the
cross we are asked to carry seems too heavy.
Pray for us that we may learn to bear it with dignity
and in a manner that is in keeping with our Christian Faith,
In Jesus Name.
Amen!

O Jesus! Only Son of the Father, splendor and figure of His Substance, remember the simple and humble recommendation Thou didst make of Thy Soul to Thy Eternal Father, saying: "Father, into Thy Hands I commend My Spirit!"
And with Thy Body all torn, and Thy Heart broken, and the bowels of Thy Mercy open to redeem us, Thou didst expire.
By this Precious Death, I beg of Thee O King of Saints, to comfort me and help me to resist the devil, the flesh and the world, so that being dead to the world, I may live for Thee alone.
I beg of Thee at the hour of my death to receive me, a pilgrim and an exile returning to Thee. Amen.

"Giving Thanks!
Good morning Lord.
How shall I give thanks
for all the good You have done for me?
What gesture shall I make
to express my love and appreciation?
There is no adequate return I can make.
Never can I thank You sufficiently.
May I lead a good life to show my gratitude.
May all I do give honor and glory to You
Your Holy Will is my constant intention.
Let me be a part of your love, Lord,
in limitless kindness to those around me.
Let me seek better ways
to be thoughtful and kind.
Amen!"

Divine Mercy Direct Me
Eternal God,
Goodness itself,
whose mercy is incomprehensible to every intellect,
whether human or angelic, help me, your feeble child,
to do Your holy will as You make it known to me.
I desire nothing but to fulfill God's desires.
Lord, here is my soul and my body,
my mind and my will,
my heart and all my love.
Direct me according to Your eternal plan.
Amen.
