Yesterday I was in the Adoration Chapel waiting for the evening Mass.
I knelt praying next to an elderly Asian Lady. She touched my arm to draw my attention and asked me what time Mass was to be celebrated. I told her it was at 6 pm.
At 6 pm when the bell was tolling for Mass, she again attracted my attention and told me she was now leaving then just blurted out: "Please pray for me, I need a job; pray for me I need a job!" I saw the near desperation on her face and I told her : " I will!"
I did so at Mass, remembering her especially at the Consecration. I am now asking for prayers for this lady. I doubt I will ever see her again or if I did, recognize her. We will refer to her as the Dolores. Sad
