I thought I'd ask folks what their favorite prayers are?

I know folks love the Rosary! What other prayers too?

Let's see..

Does everyone know the 'Prayer for Daily Neglects'? That's a favorite of mine I'm wondering if everyone knows.

I usually pray that prayer at night before going to bed.  Just recently I added the Litany of Humility to my morning prayers.  I like both of these prayers very much.

It's a prayer that gives me hope about Purgatory. Cheesy

I'd have to say some of the prayers I pray most are the Prayer for Daily Neglects, the Green Scapular Prayer, the Miraculous Medal Prayer, the St. Joseph Archconfraternity prayer, short prayers to the Holy Family, and the St. Gertrude the Great prayer for the Holy Souls.

Also special are the Golden Arrow Prayer, the St. Bridget Prayers, the Chaplet of St. Michael, (and of course the basic fundamental prayers such as the Our Father, and Ave Maria).

I am always asking for help from the Holy Family, 'Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. . . ' and my short intention.. whether it is for help, to honor the Holy Names, for salvation..

Do folks know these prayers?  Cheesy

I love the Prayer for Daily Neglects Therese. It reminds me of the 'Heartbeat Reparation Prayer'.

I pray several of the prayers you have mentioned, Shin, and am familiar with all of them except for the St. Joseph Archconfraternity prayer.  God bless you.

Actually, I may know the St. Joseph Confraternity prayer; it may be the same one that I pray as a cord bearer of St. Joseph.

There are promises from Heaven for the Chaplet.. promises from Heaven for those who love the Sacred Heart of Jesus..

There is nothing like prayers with promises!

     I like the Magnificat.
The Magnificat is also known as the Song of Mary.
It is also known as the Canticle of Mary.

thrones angel blue angel yellow Welcome to the Saints' Discussion forums CyrilSebastian!  thrones angel blue angel yellow

I pray you have a great time here!  Cheesy

There's a regular cup of coffee thread for talk about our daily lives, an Alphabetical Saints Game, and regular quotes threads going on where we paste saints quotes and comment on them, and more. Cheesy

Feel free to have fun! We're a little slower paced here but we've got folks who are solid regulars and good at temperately using computers!  Grin

I know folks would love to hear about saints and flowers!
