                       One of the churchgoers expressed:

Man has to hold on to his hope.
Without hope you are in despair.
                       Why look at something hopelessly?
We are never hopeless as long as we have Christ, who is our Hope.

What do you think?         consolation angel yellow angel yellow consolation

Very true.
Hope as you know is one of the three theological virtues and we as Catholics are encouraged to pray for an increase in these virtues, namely, Faith, Hope and Charity.
When we pray the Rosary, the three Hail Marys in the beginning is to ask God for an increase in these virtues which are necessary for our salvation.
Without hope, we would despair and that is simply not an option. Smiley

Hope is termed a theological virtue because its immediate object is God.

The Catholic faith offers a message of hope and salvation that is rooted in the belief that God loves us unconditionally.

Many thanks for keeping this great thread active.  I offer a prayer I wrote.
Prayer of Hope
Heavenly Father, Divine Trinity,
We praise You and thank You
for Your Grace of Love and Hope and Faith.
As we grow in Understanding of Your gift of Love,
We grow more secure in Knowing Your Love for us
and feel Hope more fully in Your Grace and Mercy.
The more we know of Love and Hope,
the more we feel Faith,
which grows because of our Hope
in Your Divine and Eternal Love.
Help us grow in understanding and Hope,
that we might follow Your Will
with patience, joy, and fortitude
and share with our neighbors
Your Grace of Love and Hope and Faith.
We pray in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen
