Reading about flowers in fall now, it makes a person appreciate them all the more. Even the mums now are fading at last.

Columba, Columbine, five petals -- it makes me think of five-leaf vine, which I have in my yard, also known as 'Virginia Creeper'. It turns red through the winter, and looks quite fine. Red also makes a person think of the Holy Ghost.
