                 {A} Praying Hands Hosta     
                 {B} The hosta has lavender flowers.   
                        The folded leaves resemble hands folded in prayer.     
                 {C} As altar boys in grade school, we were taught to have our hands folded in prayer   
                        if we did not carry the cross or candles.

                  {B} The crocosmia have gladiolus-like foliage fans.   
                        They have cream-centered tangerine flowers.     
                  {C} The Magi saw the Star in the East.

                 {B} These irises have very large purple blooms with very distinct     
                       veins, a lighter edge and yellow flares.     
                 {C} Sometimes holy cards have halos around the heads of Mary
