            {B} A reblooming daylily which has pristine white flowers.     
            {C} Ladies have sometimes worn white Sunday gloves when they went to church on Sunday.

              {B} A North American plant species occurs with either a single tier or two tiers of leaves.   
                    Only the two-tiered plants produce flowers which are green-to-yellow and appear in May to June.

I read this is the only plant of the genus 'medeola' a truly unique plant! It is a kind of unusual lily!

         {C} The name comes from the Latin Columba, which means "dove".

Reading about flowers in fall now, it makes a person appreciate them all the more. Even the mums now are fading at last.

Columba, Columbine, five petals -- it makes me think of five-leaf vine, which I have in my yard, also known as 'Virginia Creeper'. It turns red through the winter, and looks quite fine. Red also makes a person think of the Holy Ghost.
