{B} Pale yellow petals, grows from bulbs.
{B} Blossoms about the time of the Feast of St. Alphonsus Turibus, the flower for his feast day.

The pale yellow blossoms come forth at the beginning of Spring and remind us of the warmth of both the sun and the Son of God. St. Alphonsus Turibus from the youngest of ages was always careful to avoid sin, and loved to erect and adorn altars as part of his recreation.
