{A} Woolly St. John's Wort
{B} An evergreen groundcover St. John's Wort, with tiny yellow flowers, and uses in herbal medicine.
{C} The flower for the feast of St. John of Moutier. St. Gregory of Tours relates that St. John confined himself to a little cell and oratory, with an orchard against the church, and turned down all unnecessary commerce with men. He planted laurel trees, and would sit under them reading and writing. After he died, he was buried there, and many sick were restored to health by his intercession with God. Both St. John's Wort and St. John of Motier are bringing relief and blessings to the ill.
