On August 5 1873 restoration of the monarchy of France might have occurred. Henry, Count of Chambord would have been King of France. Since he was childless, Henry's relative Philippe, Count of Paris would be his successor. Henry could only reign under the tricolor flag, the symbol of the people's sovereignty. Henry would not. He wanted the flag with the Fleur-de-lis.

{C} One of the flowers for the Nativity of Our Lady, September 8th. Little yellow flowers that only form in the sun, remind us of how Christian life only blossoms in the light of Christ.
'When [the infant Mary] was alone, or when she was laid to sleep, which was in her most moderate, She was engaged in the contemplation of the mysteries and the excellencies of the Most High, and in the enjoyment of the divine visions and the conversation of his Majesty.'
