In the Holy Family Novena and Prayers, the Seventh Day declares:
Work can be the seed of virtue.
Holy Family, teach us to make the everyday events of our lives and work into acts of loving God.

How can work be the seed of virtue?

"God exists among the pots and pans"

- St. Theresa of Avila

A reminder to me that I need to keep my "Mary and Martha"  tendencies in balance
With each other.  Cheesy
I am more a "Mary" than I am a "Martha" but I still need to take care of the husband and household.
Some might also say this quote and what you wrote from that novena might remind folks that there needs to be dignity and
holiness brought to all kinds of work, even the so called "menial" work.  irishwisdom

When your work involves money, to handle it properly you'll need the virtue of honesty.
When your work involves talking with different kinds of people, you'll need the virtue of patience, honesty and love.
In whatever work you do, how you live your life would be a seed to grow a virtue.

When you work you can stay out of trouble.
The Fathers of the Desert had a saying, "An idle monk has many demons, but a busy monk has but one."

It is through the sacraments, prayer, suffering and work that we grow in virtue.  We grow in virtue through our work by doing it for the glory and honor of God and to fulfill His holy Will, by doing the hard things involved in our work patiently and well, by cooperating with others and being kind and charitable with them as we work, by being fair and honest and not doing anything to gyp our boss or workers, by obeying superiors and not murmuring, etc..  This is how our work sanctifies us and makes us grow in virtue.  God bless you!
