I submit this poll in hope of improving my own views and understanding: your preferences and comments would be much appreciated to help me resist my unwanted but instinctive resistence to large doses of Old English.  Surely a major factor is that much OE is free, vs more copyrights for ME versions.  Also, much OE seems more elegant, even if difficult--I can barely bring myself to modernize the 23rd Psalm.

I know it's harder for some folks, but I think with time anyone can get used to older English.

It always gives an impression of greater reverence.
