Here is a rare exception, a link to a cause asking for a donation.  It is a funeral fund for Laura Zver, please help this family out if you can.

It is an opportunity to help with one of the corporal works of mercy that is a rare opportunity to help with.

The spiritual works of mercy are:

    To instruct the ignorant;
    To counsel the doubtful;
    To admonish sinners;
    To bear wrongs patiently;
    To forgive offences willingly;
    To comfort the afflicted;
    To pray for the living and the dead.

My former spiritual director had asked us all to donate to this cause; he knows the Zver family.  How did you yourself become acquainted with the Zver family, Shin?

A read a kind request for donations, so I was able to learn of their trouble.

I think it is neat how we both had become aware of their need.  It is a small world that we live in!  I'm glad that the Zver family has finally been able to pay off their funeral debt.
