Editing posts

I have long since noticed that posts are made unable to be edited after a relatively short time (several days by my guess).
Is it possible that I could be enabled to edit my posts? I often find a spelling mistake or small error and having it retained indefinitely is something I would love to avoid.

I'll look into this a little further later, but as of today I have extended the general editing time for posts several days more.
