Henry was an Englishman of the twelfth century residing in Rome.   
In 1152 he was consecrated Bishop of Uppsala, Sweden by the Papal Legate Nicholas Breakspear.         
Nicholas later became Pope Adrian IV.

King Eric of Sweden led an expedition against the Finns in retaliation for their marauding   
activity into Sweden. Heny accompanied King Eric.

According to legend, Henry remained with the Finns, more willing to live the life of a preacher than that of a high bishop.
