A very dangerous brain cancer has been discovered in seemingly very healthy nine-year-old which requires immediate multiple surgeries and more treatment.  Please offer your prayers for him, the family, his medical staff, and other friends.

He is now about half-way through his radiation and chemo and has responded very well.  Many thanks for prayers and more would be appreciated.

About 60% of the cancer has been excised, but the rest is considered inoperable.  His radiation protocol is complete, but chemo is continuing.  Blood and cancer samples have been sent to several lab trials across the country, but there is no known cure at this time.  Generally, he is comfortable, active, and in remarkably good spirits.  We are extremely grateful for prayers.

That poor boy. Many prayers for him. Kyriel eleison.

I hope and pray if there is some cure out there for him it will be found and in the meantime he continues to bear this cross so inspiringly well.

Many thanks again to all.  I can happily update this to say his radiology and chemo treatment are nearly finished and seem mostly successful.  He has born them incredibly well and is cheerful, optimistic, and active.  Tumor was removed to the extent possible (it's not considered entirely), and he's been admitted to several trials, one or two of which continue and seem encouraging.  The family is very hopeful, still struggles with conflicting viewpoints.  Please keep them in prayer.
As for me I went to ED Monday 8/8 and kept in hospital until Wednesday with no laptop or practically anything useful.  I was lethargic, with a large rash on my back.  They diagnosed an old Lime bite, which they still treated aggressively, and a new apparently aggressive bite or sting.  No covid despite cough and symptoms.  Through this my bride had scheduled two separate surprise birthday parties.  (One was at camp and another at daughter's house.) I was 80 on 8\3 and normally have little enthusiasm, but this was special, and a great surprise. They pretended not to notice my lethargy.  I give thanks to the Divine Trinity, my Angel, Sts William and to you for your previous prayers.  Clearly, I had a lot of prayers through this in particular, and would appreciate your continuing.

Very glad to hear he's been such a little trooper through it all.

Sounds like you're bearing up under the lime disease too, hang in there my friend. And happy birthday too!

What a splendid thing for you to have two parties like that.

I've added you to the 'birthday calendar' here so there'll be a little reminder at the bottom of the forum when it is coming around next year. Sometimes I still miss them, as they're just small little blurbs, but it's great to be able to celebrate a little around that time.

May God help you in all my friend! Health and happiness and holiness and all!
