I have been saying a novena given to us by Fr. Don Dolindo.  It is called the Surrender Novena and it is said for a total of nine days.  If you have never heard of him I suggest you type his name into a you tube search.  The novena is completely printed there.  Also there are many edifying posts by Maria Palma Smith.

I have found the novena as well as the podcasts to be of great value.

I found it very interesting to read about Fr Don. aka Dolindo Ruotolo, I think, 1882-1970.  He served as a Spiritual Director for Saint Padre Pio and is a candidate for Beatification.  I noticed four of his books and wondered particularly if anyone could comment on The Afterlife.  Many thanks for a good inspiration/motivation.

I intended to mention that Father Don was reported to have been marked by a stigmata, although I did not find any description, and I wonder if others can comment further.
My forgetfulness led me to search my Hardon Dictionary, where I was amazed to read that some 320 people have received stigmata (my edition is dated 1980), and of these more than 60 have been canonized.
Since I'm still here, I was wondering if Don was a title, perhaps something like Dom (Spanish vs Italian?)  Can anyone explain please?
