The booklet 'The Wonders of the Holy Name' by Fr. Paul O'Sullivan, O.P. (E.D.M.) is now online.

Thankfully the main of the work on it had been done already by Our Lady of the Rosary Library, and most of all it needed was some editing and formatting.

Hopefully we'll have most if not all of his series of little booklets up in time. I highly recommend purchasing and sharing these, and placing them in baskets in Church vestibules.

If you haven't read this book yet, you should. It's short and full of help for appreciating the name of Jesus.  Cheesy

Happy Easter everyone!

I want to wish everyone this in advance, as I will be away on a little trip from Good Friday morning until Monday evening. You have my especial prayers for the end of Holy Week and Easter my dear family and friends!

I leave you in the best of hands, dear Brigid's, and I am sure you all will be busy too celebrating and remembering these holy days. Holy Thursday, Good Friday.. Holy Saturday..

Happy Easter!

CHRISTOS VOSKRESE!
VOISTINU VOSKRESE!

CHRIST IS RISEN!
INDEED HE HAS RISEN!

This is the Byzantine way of greeting each other on Easter.  The second line is the response to the first.  There is also a prayer said.  It is on the link below followed by music, etc.  But it is the prayer I wanted to share!  It is under the picture.  I made four batches of Slovak cakes and bread; my grandmother taught me.  She was from the Carpathian Mountains.  Talk to you soon!

Oh, I will tell you all about it. When I am not bushed from it all and can put it all together. My mind is all ajumble now..

But it was great! I got to see my grandmother, and she truly was happy with her card for Easter and the little gift I got here, two birds in a birds' nest, handi-crafts with real feathers. She was talking to them!

I wrote the Ave Maria on the back of her card to help her remember it, and she said some things about praying for the family that really encouraged me! God is at work as she gets older.. she gets holier!

And it was great to see my old priest Fr. Smith again! I owe him so much.

How was your Easter?

I am very thanking God for mine. I was buoyed along by prayers, and I know I have our little family here to thank for how fine an Easter it was. Smiley

Thank you!  Cheesy  flower littlewings angel bell

Splendidly much!
