A 7th grader hung himself in the school bathroom yesterday; they are still not sure if he is going to make it. There is more but suffice to say some colleagues of mine are white as a sheet today. He was not in my school, but a neighboring one.

from my boss:
He's still in the hospital but doing well. Talking. Not clear yet about
brain damage but no obvious brain damage.

This child is fine........ but,
this month a colleague had a 9 yr old complete a suicide and my sp dir buried two adults and a 20 yr old overdose. I think we just need to have a general prayer for these people....... I have had a mother suicide and a kid shoot himself....... I have gotten two more into the hospital before it was too late.........just during Lent! This is a problem so I think just continued prayers for all and the souls of the departed......... who are ill, by the way and not in their right mind 99.8 percent of the time.
