We now have 4,450 quotations in the Saints' Quotes database.

I want to say thank you to Patricia for volunteering, she has contributed so many quotes. We owe the Lord inestimable thanks.

We have approximately 190 authors for the quotations, that is 190 saints, blesseds, venerables, not counting some angels, the Blessed Virgin and the Lord God directly too.

I do not think it will be too long before we hit the 200 and 5,000 mark, and when we reach the 10,000 mark God willing, well.. is this the top of the mountain? No, the journey never ends.. as long as I am alive and in charge here. I do wish I had a backup person to take over ready, in case of monastery or the unexpected. I should make better preparation that way.

I am as time goes by making concordances of saints' quotations, that is, their quotations covering various subjects. So that if you ever wanted to understand everything God revealed to them and they wrote down about justice, mercy, etc. there is the concordance.

It is quite helpful. Priceless treasure.

I will eventually, God willing, put these up on the websites in some form or another, most likely as both comprehensive concordances and selective meditations.

If you wish to go to Heaven, listen to the saints.

What quotation do I find first today while typing this little announcement?

'In saying the Pater Noster, we ought to reflect that we have God for our Father in heaven, and so go on making a sort of meditation of it word by word.'

St. Philip Neri
