I do not like praying the rosary as a group in my church; it is always so rushed I feel frustrated.

I tell my children not to say their Hail Marys in a rush or in a bored manner otherwise Mother Mary will be presented with wilted roses instead of fresh ones!!  thrones

Does "devoutly" mean, according to St. Louis de Montfort, emphasis on the "Hail Mary" or on the mystery, do you think?

I think it means to pray fervently, meaningfully.
When I am saying "Hail Mary", I am actually addressing Our Lady. I have this virtual image of her in my mind so I mean what I am saying. It is not so much as stressing particular words; just praying from the heart.

Love Our Lady, make others love her. Always say your rosary and say it well. Satan always tries to destroy this prayer, but he will never succeed. It is the prayer of her who triumphs over everything and everyone.

Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy pray for us!

'All souls in hell are there because they did not pray. All the saints sanctified themselves by prayer.'

“Even if you are on the brink of damnation,
even if you have one foot in hell,
even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practice black magic,
and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil,
sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and will save your soul,
if—and mark well what I say—if you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins.”
