Thanks Therese. At least things are a little better on the marital front, but she still needs a job. I think prayers are working for her though she doesn't see it yet. Smiley

Exactly what I feel ! But its that particular community from a state in India that wants  a woman to work and bring in money.  So not just hubby, its social pressure as well. Added to the financial situation. She is in a jam. Sad  Yes , I've told her to pray more for him .

Please continue to pray for her. She is now thinking of a travel job where she will be required to travel many miles a day . She is not comfortable with driving, but feels she has no option right now. Hubby is pushing her further. He does not join them for Sunday Mass now.  Pray for him too.  cross prayer Please pray that she gets a job that is closer to home.

I read an article recently on how it is a Jewish tradition that God will hear a prayer more often if you mention the mother of the person you are praying for! How much moreso this reflects with Our Lady, and families whose mothers have so much to care for! God truly love mothers, wives and widows!

Then that is a good idea to mention the mother of the person in prayers. Probably draws Our Lord to pity quicker and quicker answer to our prayer. Smiley

Continued prayers for her and her husband.  I'm beginning the 30 day novena to St. Joseph for her tomorrow. My heart really goes out to my friend.  St. Joseph pray for this family that seems to be falling apart ! littleprayer

At least my friend found a job in a clothes store.  Also it has good flexible timings so she can manage the children. Hope things improve for her from now on and build her confidence.  Prayers also needed for marital front.
