I learned this morning that my 'Aunt' (second cousin twice removed or something like that) passed away this morning. I don't know how fallen away was her Christianity - she hadn't been to a church in years and may even have been baptized Catholic since she was full Irish confused. She was in her 80s and had been seriously ill for some time, so it wasn't a surprise. Any way, please pray for the repose of her soul.

And please pray for her two (grown) daughters in their sorrow.

O Blood and Water that gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Jesus we trust in you!

Have mercy on the dearly departed and their families! And bring them into your loving embrace! Amen! Amen!

Have mercy on this aunt of Brigid's and her family! Have mercy on the children! Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! Amen!

Eternal rest grant onto her O Lord and let the Perpetual Light shine upon her.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace . Amen.
