You're not the first person who's come to find a refuge here!

That's one of the reasons this place exists!  Cheesy

Hello, all!

I used to post a bit on CAF, and while I have a great deal of respect for those forums and its members (CAF was actually integral in my late conversion to the faith about a year ago) I have slowly realized that apologetics and political debates just aren't my cup of tea!  Cheesy

With our Lord's help, I hope to be able to make a positive contribution to this wonderful site and help to preserve the charity and purity that you guys have done such a great job creating here! Smiley

God bless!  I look forward to getting to know some of you.  Grin

Its not our cup of tea either!! We do debate once in a while but in a very cordial manner. Our focus is mainly the Saints, their lives, quotes, writings and how we can emulate them in their love for Christ and His Church.  Little Angel

Nice to have you on board!  teapot

There are also book studies, bible studies and more individual quotes threads! Don't be afraid to jump into any conversation new or old or start your own!

Please make yourself at home.  Cheesy

Hi, Shin,

I've just joined and look forward to this kind of dialogue. I am a retired Registered Nurse in Louisiana ... having a bit of time trying to adjust to retirement.
