Please pray for my Aunt, raised in a strong Roman Catholic family , who is now obsessed by a Protestant or Charismatic (don't know what he is)  preacher and his power of healing and wonders. She has turned to a life of prayer and holiness, but at the cost of now despising the beliefs of the Roman Catholic church. Now she says things like 'Mary cries because we give her more importance than Jesus'  Huh?  .'  or ' Jesus is the same for all, Catholic or Protestant.'   She calls the preacher instead of a Catholic priest for blessings on the family.
She is very impressed with this preacher ( a fallen-away Catholic himself) because he read her mind on one occasion and healed her of a persistent ailment.
She is also out to convince other family members of the greatness of this man.  I tried to explain to her that she was going the wrong path right from the start but to no avail. brick wall
Pray that she may be given wisdom and light to see the truth. Sad

O God, come to my assistance.
O Lord, make haste to help me.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit;
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be;
world without end. Amen.

Deus, in adjutorium meum intende.
Domine, ad adjuvandum me festina.

Gloria Patri, et Filio,
et Spiritui Sancto;
Sicut erat in principio,
et nunc, et semper;
et in saecula saeculorum. Amen

Blessed Micheal the Archangel
defend us in the hour of conflict.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God restrain him we humbly pray
And do thou O Prince of the Heavenly Host
by the power of God, cast Satan into Hell
and with him all the evil spirits who wonder through the world
seeking the ruin of souls.

St. Micheal, defender and Prince of the Holy Church of God,
protect Patricia's dear aunt from all deceitful tongues and every false doctrine. Amen.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy!
Our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished
children of Eve, to thee do we send
up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this valley, of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us; and
after this our exile show unto us the
blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus;
O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God

That we may be made worthy of the
promises of Christ.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death! O Most Holy Virgin Mary, intercede for this dear member of the family, with the remembrance of all their dearly departed, and undeceive this poor woman, and return her home again, safe and sound. This we beg through the merits of your dear sorrows and the dear love of Christ Our Lord. Remember us O Blessed Virgin! Amen, amen.

Patricia,
Does she still need prayers?

Yes, she does.  Seems to have worsened now, I hear.  Doesn't go to Mass as much, sends her sons to the ' pastor ' for spiritual training, asks him to bless her house etc:  Prayers to the Blessed Virgin may be the only answer for her soul and those in her family.

Praying for your aunt to be led back gently to the flock.  May she receive light and wisdom to detect her errors and realize that Protestantism is an heretical system of belief.  Amen.
