(Sorry, but you are not allowed to access the gallery)

"This picture of our Lady was drawn by a mystic in Italy. Her hand was guided by Our Lady.

There is a special blessing given each day to the person who carries it and another blessing given each time one looks at it with love."

- The Pieta Prayer Booklet

This is in the the gallery, in case you have not looked lately.  Cheesy

I do not know more about it save what is in that little quote from the little booklet.

And that I do in fact, find happiness in and love to look upon it.

I have this booklet, though tattered.  Doesn't Our Lady look so  innocent? Smiley

I've had the Pieta book now for many years. I think I'm into my fourth copy.
I often say an Ave while looking at the picture.

It's in the Pieta Prayer Book, huh? I'll have to look for one. I don't remember seeing one.

I do not know more about it save what is in that little quote from the little booklet.

The image was drawn by Maria Bordoni (mystic and founder of the well-known "Mater Dei").

You can find more information at the following pages (you can use Google to translate):

dzm1.blogspot.com/2006/05/maria-bordoni-botschaft-die-priester.html

operamaterdei.com/2023/06/23/maria-bordoni-fundadora-del-instituto-mater-dei

You'll find the same image with much better resolution and more about her visions.

I've read that Sr  Maria joined community of Sant Eusebio in 1931, and was declared venerable in 2018 by St Francis.  Also that she wrote journals of Spiritual Reflection that are widely respected but apparently not yet translated into English.  Thanks for motivation, I'm cautious and slow going into new web sites, but moving along.  Hoping to find Pope Francis words.
