Including health, children, work, and the ability to do anything really; breath itself.  After my health scare I think this means much more to me.......

Receiving crosses is so difficult, though. Even if we 'offer it up' and look toward eternity we're still human and continual striving can get so hard.

We fly to thy protection, O holy
Mother of God.
Despise not our petitions in
our necessities,
but deliver us always from
all dangers,
O glorious and blessed Virgin.

Sub tuum praesidium confugimus,
sancta Dei Genetrix.
nostras deprecationes ne despicias
in necessitatibus;
sed a periculus cunctis libera
nos semper,
Virgo gloriosa et benedicta.

How true! How thankful we must be for every blessing, for life, health, for children, for the grace to love God....

Brigid that very thought came to me while I was saying my rosary. It was like a powerful sense of security that every single detail of life is under the merciful providence of God.. We mustn't worry about anything at all but trust in God for everything. Nothing can live or remain without God sustaining it
I so wish I could retain those little understandings enough to practice them beyond the initial effect when you seem to see them more clearly than usual.

Baily you bore that trial with saintly courage and great trust in God.. I for one never suspected a thing was wrong. . I'm Hoping that weren't due to lack of sensitivity on my part.   Act of God
