'Philosophize through your works about man's will and God's retribution. For your words are only as wise and as profitable as your works.'

This reminds me of another quote about a man whose words are a clear running stream, helping others, but who fails to act upon those words and so, is like a stream which nourishes many but cannot purify itself.

Works over words!

But good words and good conversation can motivate us the better to good works! Cheesy

There is a scripture passage on this.  Something like: you show me your faith and I'll show you my faith and works  Huh?  I think it is in James?

That sounds very James!  Grin

Perhaps a justification expert will chime in!

....... Show me thy faith without works, and I from my works will show thee my faith.

St. James 2:18

What does he mean by saying, "Philosophize through your works........" Is that like the gargoyles on old churches?
