I'll hazard a guess at A, St. Clare of Assisi as the others may be too early for any great novel inventions to have developed. I'm not all that sure that my logic is right but its something to go on.  Undecided

D)  St. Vincent of Lerins

Though I'm not too sure what is wrong with novel inventions like the printing press and antibiotics.  Unless inventions means something else.  (Bailey, now get back in your box!)

Baily maybe the novel inventions St Vincent was talking about would have their counterparts in the worldly sense with novelties such as the square wheel or the rubber hammer.  Grin  Or, an Irish sun-lounger.  Cheesy
