Mother Mary, please ease Channing's suffering and help him to know how dearly he is loved by our Lord as His son.  May Channing's illnesses bring him closer to our Lord and teach him patience and holy abandonment.  May he unite his sufferings with our Lord's on the cross and offer them up for souls and/or for his own salvation.  Amen.
