As I watched
Thrones were set up
and the ancient one took His throne
His clothing was snow bright,
and the hair on His head as white as wool;
His throne was flames of fire,
with wheels of burning fire.
A surging stream of fire flowed out from where He sat;
Thousands upon thousands were ministering to Him,
and myriads upon myriads attending Him.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy
our life, our sweetness and our hope
to thee do we cry
poor banished children of Eve.

   God is our shelter and strength,
      always ready to help in times of trouble.
  So we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken

      to the sacred house of the Most High.
