For a friend struggling with Faith and Hope and depression. . .

Lord, please grant Shin's friend the gifts of faith and hope.  May he trust in your goodness and mercy and be abandoned to your merciful love.  May he give his assent to faith and let understanding follow.  May he hope for the pardon of his sins, for the help of thy grace and for life everlasting; and live to please you alone.  Amen.
